Closing Friday without a new study
Friday is for closing the page you already opened, not for adopting a method you found after dinner.
The Friday close is one sentence under the week’s pages. It answers a single question: what did the plan ask you to see, and did you see it? Not whether the market “worked.” Whether the marks you promised on Monday are on the paper.
A common Friday mistake is the new study. The week felt thin, so a chapter or a video suggests a different set of lines. The notebook gains a method and loses a sequence. Next Monday you cannot tell whether you are continuing or starting.
If the week was thin, write that. “Wednesday mark skipped; daily bars only; Friday sentence is that the range is still the one from the 9th.” That sentence is useful in six weeks. A new template adopted at 21:40 is not.
Put the pencil down after the sentence. The lamp can stay on. The page should not.
